Cambridge Micro-Brewery Set To Open, Receives License

Posted: Updated:

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - A Cambridge micro-brewery is one step closer to opening its doors.

Realerevival Brewing can officially start selling its own beers after being issued a Class 7 micro-brewery license. WMDT caught up with the owner outside of the Maryland State House, who tells us that they are only five weeks away from finally opening their doors.

"This brings a little something extra in Cambridge," said JT Merryweather. "A lot of people in the craft beer world like to travel to get the freshest beer available, especially at the micro-breweries, so we're hoping to get a lot of out-of-state and in-state traffic to come on down to Dorchester."

Though Realerevival will have five workers once it opens, Merryweather says he hopes to hire at least 12 people in the next two years.
